Post subject:  What are the recommended tools for osx/linux

Hi Folks,

I'm starting with BLE and have being reading a lot of material lately. I know would like to start playing around with some devices and mobile apps, but for my surprise I found very few tools and they are majority for windows.

Since I'm a mac guy I'd like to know which tools, or libs I could use to play around and learn BLE using my mac. Are there any recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

Hi Eric,
if you will deal with the BlueGiga Modules BLE112/113 there is are no Mac or Linux Tools available.
They are Windoze only. I'm using them in a Parallels VM running WindowsXP on a Mac. The tools are working without a problem.

Cheers,
Michael.

The Anaren A20737 works fine on OSX, online Dev tools, so platform independent. Dev kit is $50 or so.
