Hello,
since I know at least one developer who is dealing with this issue with more or less success, I want to open a discussion on how to connect sensors using I2C.
I have connected a Sensirion SHT15 without success to the BLE112 Module and have an SHT21 sensor for testing here as well.

The sensors I have are available at:

SHT15: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8257
SHT21: http://shop.moderndevice.com/products/h ... ure-sensor

I got some code from BlueGiga to show how to read the humidity from an SHT21, but I had no time to connect my SHT21 sensor yet.
Tomorrow I will give it a try and let you know about the results.

If there are other people dealing with similar sensors, please let the other readers for the forum participate in your findings.

Cheers,
Michael.

Giving a quick bump to a slightly old topic - has anyone had any luc with BLE112 & I2C? Michael, would you mind posting the code from BlueGiga?

Thanks-
Chris

hello,
I'm new on this forum, but I see this topic and I'm interested if any luck to connect SHT15? I'm testing different temp sensors to connect to ble112 and ble113. There are some info but bgsript docs are very general.
thanks

Hi ZSolt,
the SHT15 is not a real I2C device.
I had problems to connect the SHT15 even on an Arduino.
There is a library for the SHT15 on Arduino, but when you try to use two I2C devices on the same bus
you'll fail since the SHT15 is not a real one.

I would recumbent you to use the SHT21 or SHT25 to do this.
I have not yet written any I2C related code for the BLE112/113.

Sorry,
Michael.

thanks, I was just wondering. I tried to test tmp102 sensor from sparkfun, but bgsript is bit funky...
