Is the app able to read custom GATT services/characteristics from BTLE devices, or do they need to be included in the server-side database before the app can show them correctly?
I have modified my BLE112 project to include a custom service, but when I access it with BLExplr I only see the GAP.
Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris, can you attach a screenshot? The Service and Characteristics should be listed as unknown service and Characteristic. The Service Side Dict is only used to show you a human readable name of the service and characteristic.
Cheers, Michael.

Actually, it looks like it was an issue with my iPhone. The scanning screen would list the services I was programming, but once connected I would only see the Cable Replacement demo I had used a few days ago.
After uninstalling and reinstalling BLExplr today, everything is working as expected.
Thanks again for the app, It really speeds up the dev process for those of us new to the Bluetooth world.

Hi Chris, thank's for the feedback. It would be nice to read more about future features, users are interested in. I'm still waiting for my iPad Mini, and would then start to do the port.
Best, Michael.
