Hey Michael,
I am trying to change the firmware on the BLE Shield 2.0 from the standard 9600 baud rate to 38400. I am using the Bluegiga Update Tool, and then have BGbuild manually set to the 1.2 SDK. My question is, can I simply open the hardware file in the 2.0 firmware folder in WordPad, change the 9600 to 38400, save it, and then simply upload the project file with the update tool? Or do I need to actually compile the firmware outside of the update tool?

Hello Tyler, yes, the update tool compiles and uploads the resulting hex file in one step. So what you described is possible.
Cheers, Michael.
